Taylor S. Brown

Taylor is a member of the real estate group at Landerholm, where he focuses his legal practice on real estate transactions, contract work, and landlord/tenant dispute resolution.  Before embarking on his legal career, Taylor gained extensive experience in finance and consulting, working in asset- and residential mortgage-backed securities and later in real estate lending.  After deciding on a career change, Taylor left New York to spend a year traveling through Central and South America, where he improved his Spanish, connected with local small business, and created unforgettable memories - right up until the pandemic halted his adventure.

Now in his legal practice, Taylor draws on his finance and consulting experience to offer clients both analytical rigor and practical insight.  He enjoys distilling complex transactions into clear, accessible agreements, bringing a strategic perspective and skillful negotiation to help achieve his clients’ goals. 

 An East Coast transplant, Taylor fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and has even come around to embracing the rainy season.  He graduated from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, and earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, graduating magna cum laude.  Conversational in Spanish, Taylor hopes to incorporate his language skills into his practice to better serve a diverse range of clients.

 In his free time, Taylor enjoys trail running, skiing, playing guitar, and adventuring with his girlfriend and their three dogs.
